Free Consultation - We Listen First
You call us or fill out our form. We sit down with you - in person or by phone - and listen. We want to understand your loved one: their care needs, daily routine, personality, budget, and preferred location. There is no script and no sales pitch. This is just a conversation.
Most families spend 20-30 minutes on this call. That is all we need to get started.
We Research and Hand-Pick Options
After we understand what you are looking for, we go to work. Our placement specialist - a licensed LVN with an RCFE certification - personally reviews facilities in our local network. We are not working off a national database. We know these homes. We have walked through them.
We only recommend facilities we would be comfortable placing our own family in.
We Tour With You
We schedule tours of the top options and walk through them with you. We know what questions to ask and what to look for - staffing ratios, cleanliness, how residents are treated, what the food is like, how the staff responds when something goes wrong. You see it all with a clinical eye guiding you.
You are never alone in this process. We are with you every step.
You Choose - We Handle the Rest
When you find the right place, we coordinate with the facility on your behalf - paperwork, move-in logistics, introductions. We make the transition as smooth as possible for your loved one and your family.
We Follow Up
After move-in, we check in to make sure everything is going the way it should. If something is not right, we help you address it. Our job is not done when the paperwork is signed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this cost?
Nothing to you. Our placement service is completely free to families. When your loved one moves into a facility, the facility pays us a placement fee. You pay zero.
What is an RCFE?
RCFE stands for Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. These are licensed homes - typically 6-bed residential homes or larger assisted living communities - that provide housing, meals, supervision, and help with daily activities for seniors. They are regulated by the California Department of Social Services.
How long does the process take?
It depends on your urgency and how specific your needs are. Some families are placed within a week. Others take a few weeks if they want to tour multiple options. We work at your pace.
Do we have to use one of the facilities you recommend?
No. Our recommendations are guidance, not a requirement. If you find a facility on your own, we are happy to help you evaluate it. There is no pressure to use our network.
What if we are not happy after move-in?
Call us. We will help you work through the issue with the facility, or if needed, help you find a better fit. We stay in the picture.
Does Medi-Cal cover RCFE costs?
Most RCFEs in our area are private pay. Some participate in the Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) program, which is a Medi-Cal benefit. We can help you identify those options if budget is a concern.
